just something simple....

yassum, we're getting married.

let me not get carried away, all. dear lawd, keep me sane.

so i'm saying for the record, before the planning starts, i'd love nothing more than if our wedding dinner turns out to feel as intimate and simple as this one.

So wonderful, and that table looks like one that will host great conversation and big ear to ear grins.

I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that some of that super baby pink is going to make an appearance at your wedding.

And if anyone can do simple, you can. I already know that your wedding will be amazing and an inspiration to everyone else.

Great Blog. Happy planning. My husband and I were married on our small farm with just close family and friends. It was wonderful!

congratulations! have a great time planning your wedding. we had a small, intimate wedding - just one long, drawn out luncheon with family, close friends, and lots and lots of wine. it was such a memorable day!

Congratulations Phoebe! In terms of staying sane, I just finished reading Rebecca Mead's recently published "One Perfect Day: The Selling of the American Wedding" and found it to be a real eye opener about what drives the wedding industry behind-the-scenes. With all the upcoming planning, you might not have much time for reading, though! ;-)
